10:00 am - 11:00 am: Hot Piping Curves:
You will be making a simple project with the Drunkard's Path block using Susan Cleveland's technique called "Piping Hot Curves". Her method of inserting contrasting piping in the seam makes sewing curved pieces together very easy. The piping adds an unexpected color accent to a simple block.
11:30 am - 12:30 am: Towel Apron:
You will make an apron from a tea towel and coordinating fabric. This is fun and easy. The finished apron can be embellished by embroidery or applique.
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Wrapped Bowl:
A fun filled class where you will learn to make a fabric bowl. This simple bowl is made from clothesline, small strips of fabric and your sewing machine. It makes a great gift and you can whip it up in not time at all.
2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Covered Notebook:
Take an unattractive spiral notebook and turn it into something attractive and fun. You will go home with directions to adapt this to any size notebook.

By using contemporary fabrics and your sewing machine, the old fashioned Cathedral Window blocks are turned into components for modern quilts, garments, bags and more.
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Paper Piecing:
Learn the basics of paper piecing. You will learn how to precut your fabric so that it fits each shape with no waste. It is very accurate and easy.
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Fast & Finished:
This is a fast and easy quilt-as-you-go table runner. When you are done - you are done!

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm: Microwave Potato Bag:
Learn to make a bag to bake your potatoes in the microwave. It makes them taste like they came out of the oven without the long wait and is an energy saver. It will also heat bread or rolls. You won't be able to live without one!
