Stay posted for details on our 2012 Charity Quilt. We will accept applications shortly and present our quilt to the selected not-for-profit organization at our Spring Luncheon May 2012.
2011 Charity Quilt Recipient
The Decatur Quilters Guild was pleased to present our 2011 Charity Quilt "Smell the Flowers" to the Macon County Historical Society on May 25, 2011 at our Spring Luncheon. The Historical Society is dedicated to preserving the local heritage of Macon County and will use the quilt in a raffle to raise funds for various projects around the Museum and Prairie Village facility.

2010 Charity Quilt Recipient
The Decatur Quilters Guild selected the Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity group to receive our 2010 Charity Quilt. Moultrie County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, Christian housing ministry based in Sullivan, Illinois, and has served all of Moultrie County, including the towns of Arthur, Bethany, Lovington, and Sullivan since March 1998. Their mission is to help build lives and build homes for those partner families in need of a modest, affordable house. They have built 13 Habitat houses to date including four in Arthur, one in Bethany, four in Lovington and four in Sullivan. We are honored to donate our quilt for use in a raffle and we know they will put the earned money to good use!

2009 Charity Quilt Recipient
The Decatur Quilters Guild was pleased to present our 2009 Charity Quilt to Operation Enduring Support at our Spring Luncheon on May 27, 2009. The organization will raffle the quilt to raise money for their contributions to the soldiers overseas. They send packages and supplies to our troops on a requests basis and we are thrilled that the monies raised will be going to such a worthy cause.
