Decatur Quilt Guild is a not for profit organization,
which strives to spread the art of quilting to all who are interested.
Members do many charity projects such as making quilts for wounded
soldiers returning from war, quilts for Project Linus as well as charity quilts which are given to a non-profit organization to help them in their fund raising efforts. The Decatur Quilt Guild also provides mini-quilt shows to area nursing homes and is also a participant in the National Quilt Day.
The longer members are involved with this organization, the more
they become aware of the comfort that quilts bring to those who
need comforting. It is the Members hope that they make their
situation a little more tolerable.
