Welcome to the
Decatur Quilters Guild
The Decatur Quilters Guild is a not-for-profit organization, which strives to spread the art of quilting to all who are interested. Members do many charity projects, such as making quilt for wounded soldiers returning from war, quilts for Project Linus, as well as charity quilts which are given to a non-profit organization to help them in their fund-raising efforts. The Decatur Quilters Guild also provides mini-quilt shows to area nursing homes and is also a participant in the National Quilt Day.
2012 Charity Quilt Recipient
The Decatur Quilters Guild chose the Moultrie County Counseling Center in Sullivan, Illinois, as the recipient of our 2012 Charity Quilt. They are a charitable, non-profit, and tax-exempt corporation that provide professional mental health services to over 400 individuals annually, with approximately 45% of clients are children/adolescents.

2012 Quilt Fest Silent Auction
The Decatur Quilters Guild's Quilt Fest presented funds raised through a Silent Auction at our show in March to the Decatur Family Refuge. Kathleen Taylor, director of Decatur Family Refuge, discussed how our donation would help those families staying with them.
